so far i haven't even had a chance to try it out since it started to get in the 70s and 80s where i am but i ordered this jacket to replace my Carhartt Jacket i had that i ruined with a bunch of transmission fluid (was a very good jacket, had it for 7 years and nothing wrong with it at all, was a casual jacket and work jacket, still going to keep it as a jacket that i wouldn't mind getting stains on). the only problem i had wtih the other jacket (similar to this one but different lining) was that it seemed to keep me warm until it got down to maybe 50. once it got below that it couldn't keep my warm even zipped up. i know i could add another layer but i don't like doing that, im just a t-shirt and jacket guy, don't like to put 3 or 4 layers on if i can't help it. so i figure i try this one with a warmer lining, saw that it's very warm but doesn't get to hot if unzipped open. the jacket has the sandstone outer which my other jacket had and it was very durable. i have no doubt that this will be as good as my other jacket but just be warmer. i have a hunting jacket that is VERY warm but i wanted a Carhartt that is also warm and i wouldn't mind working in and also wouldn't get to hot.

I've has this jacket for 2 winters now and I have been very pleased with its durability for wear and warmth. It also looks really good and color has not faded a bit. Great jacket.

This jacket is very comfortable and warm. The lining is great, the sandstone finish is very nice looking and rugged. Great jacket for work or recreational puproses in cold weather. Tough enough to work, and stylish enough for casual wear.

This product is great. I have had one for 5 years and still holding strong. Wear it to work outside in and for casual wear. You will not get cold in this coat. Recently bought my boyfriend one because I know he won't rip it to shreds while fixing barb wire fences. Every chance I get I recommend the Carhartt brand.
